Contact Suppression System
You must follow good list management procedures to ensure your reputation remains intact and that you remain CAN-SPAM compliant. Listrak offers a global suppression system that automatically removes contacts across multiple lists when they unsubscribe from one list. This way, those contacts will no longer receive any email communications from you.
The suppression system is a way of linking lists for the purpose of sharing the unsubscribe process to allow the global removal of email addresses. To tie your list to a suppression list, simply click on the check box next to the suppression list you would like to associate with this list. You may choose as many as you need. If an email address on the current list resides on any of the suppression list you check, the address will be automatically removed from the current list.
All contacts that unsubscribe to this list will be added to the suppression lists associated with this list. If the suppression list is tied to any other lists, the contacts will be removed automatically from those lists as well.
